Teacher Trainees to Pocket GH¢204 as monthly allowances Per Semester

Teacher Trainees in all public Colleges of Education in the country shall receive their allowances beginning October 2017.
The allowances shall be paid p er Semester ,comprising four months per semester and Eight months in an academic year .

Unlike before the cancellation of the allowances ,Trainees were paid for twelve months in a year ,including vacations.
The total amount to be paid to each trainee per month shall be GH¢400.00 of which there shall be a deduction of GH¢196.00 at source (SLTF ) as payment for feeding fee per student.

The amount to be paid into each Trainees’ account after all deductions shall be GH¢204.00.
